Competition
Sinar Bron is
hosting these regional photo competitions to support
the success of
students in accredited photography programs.
SBI
Educational Program Overview
The Sinar Bron Imaging Educational program provides
students, educators, and accredited
institutions with the tools and
training for excellence in photography. The program consists
of discounts, training seminars, and the SBI lecture series.
RULES:
1. This photo
competition is only open to students enrolled in classes working
towards a degree in accredited photography programs at schools or
colleges located the following states:
Arkansas,
Iowa,
Illinois,
Indiana.
Kansas,
Kentucky,
Michigan,
Minnesota,
Missouri,
Nebraska,
North Dakota,
Ohio,
Oklahoma,
South Dakota,
Texas,
West Virginia and
Wisconsin.
The location of the school is determined by the
primary location of classes
2. Only one entry per student is allowed.
3. Image must be
provided in high resolution (20 mb file maximum) No low res files
will be eligible. File formats of TIFF or JPEG are acceptable.
4. The competition is sponsored by Sinar Bron Imaging.
5. The student must provide an image production summary, including
the list of lighting/photographic equipment used.
6. Sinar Bron Imaging shall have unlimited rights to use the image
in promotional literature, advertising, electronic media, trade show
graphics, and other advertising forms along with a description of
the equipment used in it’s production. Credit in the form of a
by-line shall be given to the photographer.
7. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place. The
student will be responsible for all applicable taxes, fees or
surcharges.
8. The contest will officially begin on February 1, 2009 and all
images need to be submitted by April 30, 2009 with the
deadline for entry at 5:00pm Eastern Time. Prizes will be delivered
in June 2009.
9. By entering, the student agrees that his or her image is original
and does not infringe on any third party. The student will obtain
and furnish upon request any necessary permission from any third
party if a third party or their property appears in the photograph.
This shall include all model release forms signed by subject or
their guardian if underage.
10. By entering this contest, students release and hold harmless Bron Elektronik,
Sinar, and Sinar Bron Imaging, its affiliated organizations and
dealers and each of their directors, officers, employees, attorneys,
agents and representatives from any and all liability for injury,
loss, claim, action, demand, and damage of any kind arising from or
related to this contest or the prizes won.
